Dongguan Sunshine Network (Reporter Du Jieying)  Dongdong cultural and creative industry adds a new member--In May 6, 2011, the foundation stone for ICDC was grandly laid, and ICDC will be built into a comprehensive headquarter-type business park integrated by animation, games and other creative industries.

Invested and constructed by Dongguan Songshan Lake  Dongguan Songshan Lake Sino-Hub-Assets Co.,Ltd., ICDC is located in Songshan Lake High-tech Zone Yuehe Lake, its planning area is 140 acres, a total construction area is over 110, 000 square meters, and the expected investment reaches 6 billion yuan. The ICDC plans to build the research and develop building of General Headquarter, achievements exhibition center, creative research and develop building, chief expert research and develop building and other facilities.

The general manager of ICDC Li Ziyang said, the ICDC will adhere to the development concept of "creativity changing life, creativity creating future", build a headquarter-type business park integrated by animation, games, clothing, advertisement, industry, film and other creative industries. Li Ziyang said, "we will integrate and gather headquarter enterprise and strive to become a model in similar parks".

The secretary of Songshan Lake High-tech Zone's working committee demonstrated that the construction of ICDC makes the cultural and creative industry of Dongguan embarking on a new journey, "it will lead the development of many relevant companies and play an vital role in the strategic transformation of Dongguan industry upgrading when the project is completed.

ICDC is also favored by foreign creative design practioners. Mr. Marc, the secretary of Ecole de Design de Nantes Atlantique, is confident with the Dongguan's creative design industry. He hoped that Dongguan's creative design industry can reach a higher stage as the perfection of ICDC's creative industry chain. "In the past, Dongguan is the manufacturing center, and now, Dongguan is the innovation center of China, and it may become the innovation center of the world in the future".
